PASSING THE TORCH

The Seattle Metals Guild is proud to announce the 6th Annual "Passing the Torch" State Wide High School Metal Arts and Jewelry Competition.

This year the exhibition is being held at the Seattle Art Museum's educational hallway which is open and free to the public. The show runs from May 9th through June 8th 2008. The award ceremony is on opening night May 9th at 6:30pm. SAM's Art Attack night for high school students is also that evening and allows high school students with current ID free access to the museum.

Please come and support this very important event that the Seattle Metals Guild sponsors either opening night or sometime during its stay at the museum. Last year there were 81 pieces from 18 schools from around the state. It is a must see!!!
